The Health Professions Act, Section 19, provides further authorities and responsibilities for the regulation of BC’s chiropractic doctors. Specific information regarding registration, standards, and complaints and discipline are contained in the bylaws.
On December 8, 2016 the board of the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia approved amendments to the CCBC bylaws. Some of those amendments are subject to the notice requirements described in section 19(6.2) of the Health Professions Act before they can be filed with the Minister of Health.
