CCBC to join College Hub in Fall of 2018

The College of Chiropractors of British Columbia (CCBC) is pleased to announce that we have agreed to share office space with other health regulators in fall 2018. Located at 200 Granville Street in Vancouver, this new space will be home to the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals as well as several other health regulators, including the CCBC.  Recently the CCBC moved our office location as a temporary measure prior to joining the College Hub later in 2018.

Through the nursing college’s creation of a regulatory hub, health profession regulators will have greater opportunities to collaborate, share best practices and increase efficiencies within regulation in British Columbia.  BC Health Regulators have long recognized the value of collaboration, and we are pleased that the nursing colleges have taken the lead in creating a space to foster even more collaboration amongst health regulators in British Columbia.

So what will that move mean for you?  This decision provides greater access to tools and resources, allowing the CCBC to create further efficiencies and focus on proactive measures.  This location is centrally located in Downtown Vancouver, with easy access to transit; making it easier for staff, registrants, and the public to directly engage with the CCBC.  More importantly, this alignment with other colleges strengthens our commitment to public protection.

The CCBC is pleased to be a part of the regulatory hub, joining our colleagues from other regulated health professions in serving the public interest.  We’ll continue to keep registrants updated as we look forward to our move in 2018!
