CCBC Seeking Interim Registrar (1 year)

The College of Chiropractors of British Columbia (CCBC) is seeking a temporary Registrar to fulfill a 13 month maternity leave, beginning approximately March 12, 2018 and expiring April 12, 2019.

The CCBC, located in Richmond, is the self- governing body empowered under the Health Professions Act to regulate the practice of BC’s Chiropractors. The CCBC serves and protects the public and governs the delivery of chiropractic care by ensuring the highest professional standards, advancing continuing education and research and promoting and establishing collaborative relationships. Regulatory functions include registration, establishing and enforcing standards of practice, and investigating and managing the processing of all complaints from the public.

Reporting to the Board, the Registrar acts as CEO and has overall responsibility for compliance with relevant legislation and provides support and recommendations to the board and committees to fulfill governance roles and responsibilities; facilitates on going strategic planning processes for the board and implements strategies to operationalize board goals and objectives; and manages the fiscal and administrative functions of the College, utilizing prudent and efficient management practices.
