In May 2023, there were two updates shared:

• Ministry of Health sets timeline for college amalgamations
• Ministry of Health proposes amendments to the Health Professions Designation and Amalgamation Regulation

In understanding and aligning with the Ministry of Health’s amalgamation initiative, we are now launching this video you see embedded in this update to share with you a general snapshot of what this amalgamation entails and what the public can expect from the process. With patients, public and other stakeholders in mind, previous stakeholder survey feedback considered, we thought about questions that you might be wondering about the amalgamation process to develop this video.
