On May 6, 2020, Premier Horgan, with Minister Dix and Dr. Henry, announced BC’s Restart Plan, in anticipation of a gradual return to business and indicated that it could begin after the May long weekend, subject to the status of COVID-19. The College of Chiropractors of BC’s (CCBC) priority is safety for the public, patients and registrants. To ensure safe practices and consistency with the overarching plan to re-open BC, the CCBC has been working steadily with BC’s regulatory colleges, government and other stakeholders to develop guidance for registrants since the onset of COVID-19 in anticipation of the re-opening of chiropractic practices.
The current Standards remain in place, until further notice. Visit the CCBC website for the latest COVID-19 updates.
The CCBC welcomes the return of chiropractors to their practice in alignment with the timelines set by the Premier’s and the Provincial Health Offices and are confident that they will continue to follow the Provincial Health Officer’s direction.
The CCBC will issue further communications to registrants providing more guidance and information as it becomes available.
