Notice of Bylaw Amendments

On December 8, 2016 the board of the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia approved amendments to the CCBC bylaws.  Some of those amendments are subject to the notice requirements described in section 19(6.2) of the Health Professions Act before they can be filed with the Minister of Health.  Accordingly, notice of those amendments is hereby provided to the public by posting of the following:

–     a copy of the December 19, 2016 notice letter sent to the Ministry of Health;

–     a copy of the board’s December 8, 2016 resolution with a schedule describing the amendments requiring notice.

In addition, the CCBC is posting the following information about other bylaw amendments that were also approved by the Board on December 8, 2016 but are not subject to the section 19(6.2) notice requirement:

–     a copy of the board’s December 8, 2016 resolution with a schedule describing the amendments that do not require notice.

Finally, the CCBC includes a copy of the bylaws as they will look if the amendments are all incorporated and filed:

–     a clean copy of the bylaws (with draft watermark) incorporating the amendments.

The CCBC is asking that any comments concerning the proposed amendments be sent to the CCBC and the Ministry of Health no later than 4:30 p.m. on March 20, 2017.
